SAP Process Orchestration (PO) helps you automate and streamline your business processes. SAP Process Orchestration consists of several products that combine to form a powerful integration solution.

• SAP Business Process Management (BPM)
  SAP BPM can help an organisation’s IT specialists and business departments to model and manage processes in a standard way.
• SAP Process Integration (PI)
  SAP PI is SAP’s integration platform that makes integration between SAP and non-SAP applications possible either within the same organisation (A2A – Application to Application) or outside the organisation (B2B – Business to Business). PI enables organisations to exchange large amounts of data between your own internal systems or with systems outside the organisation.
• SAP Business Rules Management (BRM)
  SAP BRM enables organisations to automate decision-making using business rules. Flows can then be controlled using BRM within an integration process.

From SAP PO to Integration Suite

SAP Process Orchestration is used by a huge number of organisations. However, SAP PO lacks the benefits offered by many modern cloud solutions. Cloud solutions are accessible any time, anywhere, require no maintenance, deliver higher productivity, and are easier to scale.

SAP has now announced an end-of-life date for SAP PO, and is recommending that users switch to the SAP Integration Suite.
