Microsoft is expanding its CSP programme: from 1 June 2025, you will be able to sign three-year contracts for Microsoft 365 E3 and E5. This is a welcome development, especially now that many organisations are no longer able to renew their Enterprise Agreements.
With this step, Microsoft is responding to recent changes in licensing policy that mainly affect Enterprise Agreement (EA) holders. Some EA holders will not be able to renew their current contract. This applies mainly to medium-sized organisations.
To offer this group an alternative, Microsoft is expanding the options within CSP. Organisations that previously worked with EA can now switch to CSP and enter into a three-year agreement. This comes with the familiar security of fixed prices and conditions as in EA. Microsoft is also offering a temporary ten percent discount for new subscribers or upgrades from Office 365 to Microsoft 365.
Who is eligible for the discount?
The temporary discount is intended for organisations that:
- Have not previously had Microsoft 365 E3 or E5 active in their tenant
- Or are currently using Office 365 E3 or E5 and want to upgrade to Microsoft 365 E3 or E5.
The discount is ten percent and applies to a three-year contract concluded within the CSP programme.
What are the conditions?
To be eligible for the discount, the following guidelines apply:
- Only valid for new orders (no renewals)
- Contract term: three years
- Minimum of 100 licences, maximum of 400 licences per customer
- Payment in advance or spread over three years is possible
- Only available to organisations that have not previously purchased the relevant products
- Valid in all Microsoft regions
- The promotion runs from 1 June 2025 to 31 December 2025
